My wife and I contacted GR Solar a couple of years ago, but were unable to complete the project at that time for personal reasons. They checked back from time to time to see whether we were ready yet. Now that we are, we've had a number of contacts with Caroline Barnes, who answered a lot of questions to my satisfaction. We are now moving to the site visit phase and I feel confident that I know enough to be able to decide whether to move ahead based on what the site visit tells us.

She was very informative in educating us about all our options, she went the extra mile in helping us gather information and roof quotes for a possible roof replacement, and it was also just a delight to talk to her! Professional, pleasant, and well-informed. We had to postpone this project for unexpected financial reasons, but we will definitely call Green Ridge again when we pick it back up!

I am pleased to give a 5 star rating for this solar company. For 5 years I did my research on the solar industry and had multiple bids from different companies. Green Ridge showed itself to be a cut above all the others I spoke to. Their professionalism from the first contact was exceptional. They were not pushy in their sale and they were some of the most competitive with their pricing that I found. After viewing all the info on their website and reading all the reviews I was satisfied to decide to use them to put in my ground mount system. From the first day of entering into a contract for the install they said what they would do and did what they said. They made this install so easy with their prompt install, keeping me in touch with the next task and scheduled time for crew to be here. Everything with this install was done with efficiency that only comes from a can do motto, excellent work onsite with their in house employees who quickly completed the project. I also drove and toured the headquarters of Green Ridge and was impressed with their operations. This is one satisfied customer to say the least. Yes, give them a call as you will not be sorry.

The Green Ridge Solar is professional. Green Ridge Solar took care of everything from beginning to end and worked with me throughout the installation. Prior to starting the installation Green Ridge Solar provided a detailed set of plans for the install so I could confirm that the complete system would be as I expected. Green Ridge Solar took care of the permitting, arranging the inspections and provided all the information to schedule and initiate the Net Meter install by the power utility company. I did have an issue after the install with the consumption metering and Green Ridge Solar quickly responded and corrected the issue. I recommend Green Ridge Solar.

My solar panels were installed by Green Ridge and I recently had them removed and replaced for a new roof. While nobody likes to pay additional money (it costs to take them off and reinstall), they were a pleasure to work with - very responsive and communicative. They had some folks out sick and could not finish the first day and they took care to cover everything well, clearly communicated, worked within our schedule to get the job done. My solar panels have always worked well without problems - I would work with them again anytime!

I did research on multiple companies in Oregon, Green ridge was one of the few that did not use sub-contractors and resolved any issue with in a timely manner. They offered financing through a regional credit union which made the system even more affordable. The team also track down more rebates after the contract was signed. The installers were professional and explained how the system functioned. The team handled all the paperwork seamlessly from the local permits to dealing with pacific power. Though there were times I needed a more in-depth explanation, they didn't hesitate to jump on a call or shoot me a quick email so that I could better understand.

We had a large solar system installed a year ago by a local solar company. After a year the system melted down due to some faulty wiring. It took a month before the system was functional again, but our battery was also taken out in the melt down. We were told it would take a few weeks to get the paperwork through the system to warranty out our battery. After waiting three months we decided to contact Green Ridge Solar to see if they could help with our problem. To say they were life savers is an understatement. They answered the phone immediately, understood the problem and sent out a very experienced electrician in a very timely manner. They were able to warranty out our existing battery and we decided to order an additional battery through their company. The new battery was only half the cost from the first one that was installed by the original company. They were fast, friendly and professional. I would hire them again in a heart beat.

I talked with more than six different solar companies, and Green Ridge treated me like an adult. No overwrought promises about solar production and savings. No pressure, just information. After talking with me and looking at our house from satellite images, they made an initial estimate, which they provided in writing. And, without prompting, they offered local references. Some other companies I dealt with made overly ambitious promises, refused to give me a hard copy of their estimate, and said they couldn’t give me references because that would invade the privacy of their clients. Unlike some others, Green Ridge didn’t offer Voodoo financing, instead hooking me up with a decent solar-specific loan from a credit union, and they did all the paperwork to take advantage of a state rebate. And unlike others who wanted a lot of the money upfront, in one case even before the physical site inspection, I didn’t pay Green Ridge a cent until the system was installed. All through the process, people were friendly and kept me informed. The installers were great, and didn’t mind my constant questions about what’s that thing and what does it do. When we had a hiccup with electrical inspection, they sent the electrician back promptly until we got it resolved. Once we passed final inspection, they let the local utility know and within two days they came out and installed the new two-way meter. We flipped the switches and, Victor Frankenstein proclaimed, “It’s alive!” If you’re interested in solar, do talk to several companies. Just make sure Green Ridge is one of them. We’re glad we worked with them.

I would happily recommend doing business with Green Ridge Solar. I found them online when I was shopping around, and from the moment I contacted their sales team to the end of my project when we turned on my solar panels they have been incredibly professional and straightforward to work with. Every person that I spoke with on the phone and all of the installation team who are at my house were respectful, pleasant, polite, and honest about the process from beginning to end. I have only had my panels on for a few weeks but it's been several months in the making and the communication has been immaculate. My sales rep Drex and there rest of his team connected me with a fantastic credit union to evenly swap my electric bill with my new solar loan. They have a dedicated person for every step of the way so I never had to deal with a single government form for any of the rebate programs outside of reading over them when they were ready to be signed. They originally told me the installation could take 2 to 3 days and they were out of here and half a day. They kept me informed every step of the way about which person was coming from the city and then the power company and the city again and what to expect for all of those visits. I'm a very hands-on type of customer but about halfway through the process I just stopped worrying about it and let them contact me when they needed something because I realized they were more on top of everything than I was. That was such a nice bonus. I'm so glad I went with Green Ridge Solar. I got quotes from several companies before I started and it was a confusing decision. Ultimately I'm very happy with the outcome and the ease of the process. And now I love watching the app connected to my system tell me how much energy my system produces everyday! Their install lead also brought me a very nice gift box full of cool stuff that we all enjoyed eating/drinking/using in my house. Loved that so much and I certainly wasn't expecting it so it was extra fun. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They were very fairly priced, and the quality of service and workmanship and customer service is not going to get any better from another company. I would highly recommend Green Ridge Solar. I considered going solar for a few years and was approached by a variety of companies; one from **** repeatedly came to my door even after I said that I was not interested because I had read their reviews. Green Ridge Solar was not a hard sell which I appreciated. They walked me through the process and were patient as I juggled financing/getting a new roof along with solar installation. I appreciate the fact that they are local and easy to contact and they always connected with me right away when I had questions. As this is a new install and I have not "banked" solar kilowatt hours; it will be interesting to see what my power bills will be. I am very pleased with their service.

I have had my Green Ridge PV Solar system now for a few years. I wanted to provide a review of Green Ridge Solar. Despite a very complicated installation and some challenges with the manufacture of my equipment, Green Ridge persevered and came through. They kept me informed and they supported me through the entire installation process. During the installation the owners came out multiple times and made sure all was ok.
