Highly recommend Green Ridge Solar ! Professional, knowledgeable, reliable and they stand by their work ! My project was not an easy one and I became a little frustrated ,but owners Alex and Brian were AMAZING, they went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly ! Sarah, Aaron and Nathan among others were also part of our team and I cannot speak highly enough of all of them ! 10/10 ! Thank you all for your hard work !

A good company. They can and should improve their installation quality check process to be sure they don't miss something. In my case they forgot to turn on my battery back-up and never explained to me where the "on / off" switch for the battery was. This was caught by a team that came out to do a firmware update on the system months after the installation. This is poor Quality Control. One electrician, Dominic, installed my battery incorrectly! It was caught by ME. The original electrician, Ryan (who is excellent) came back and saw the mistake and rewired the battery and installed the wireless connection to the system Dominic missed. Net: This is a good company, uses top rated equipment and, depending on who is doing the installation, can do a good job. They need to implement quality control procedures to create installation checklists, then have the lead electrician check off each step and sign and date that form and submit to their office. By the way, they never followed up with me after the installation to ask "how did things go?". Another miss that they could easily do that would engender positive feedback on the company.

Thus far we have been very pleased with the attentiveness and knowledge of the Green Ridge crew. We live in an older home (built in 1929) and so are still in the early stages of the assessment process. We want to thank Emma, Tucker and Dylan for their professionalism and thoroughness and thank you to Green Ridge for making this an easy process thus far. Now that the project is complete, I can say that the entire process was very smooth. I highly recommend Green Ridge Solar to anyone who wants to install solar on their home, we have become the envy of our neighbors thanks to Green Ridge.

The entire Green Ridge Solar team - office staff, installers, and electricians were all outstanding! My job was complex with additional electrical work and the process and timeline unfolded as planned. The workmanship was very high quality and the job site always clean and safe. Communications was exceptional. It was clear to see that the staff had a good working relationship with *** and City of Portland inspectors. I needed a ground mounted system and they provided it. Easy to work with, great customer service. I had f an issue when the power company finally installed the bidirectional meter and they were quick to reach out and solve it. I mean quick, I emailed them and the next day customer service had my issue solved.

When I started my solar project I had a lot to learn so I contacted 9 different solar installers, all recommended by either EnergyTrust or EnergySage. The proposals were complicated enough that I made a spreadsheet to compare them all. Green Ridge came out better than median on $/kW panel production, and a leader in $/kWh of battery, which is important to me. Filling in my spreadsheet gave me an idea of the customer service I could expect from these companies and here Green Ridge is the clear winner. GR went through numerous design options with me – their modelling software made it easy to run through any number of configurations until I had one I liked. They promised to handle the bewildering maze of regulations/inspections/PGE-clearances required and they came through perfectly. They made several site pre-inspection visits to my home to get the plans all correct, then they showed up when they said, finished when they said, and now I chuckle every time I see that green arrow on my phone app that tells me I’m sending power back to PGE. I have already recommended GreenRidge to my brother-in-law – his solar system is now up and running also. And I recommend GreenRidge to anyone who appreciates good customer service.

My wife and I contacted GR Solar a couple of years ago, but were unable to complete the project at that time for personal reasons. They checked back from time to time to see whether we were ready yet. Now that we are, we've had a number of contacts with Caroline Barnes, who answered a lot of questions to my satisfaction. We are now moving to the site visit phase and I feel confident that I know enough to be able to decide whether to move ahead based on what the site visit tells us.

She was very informative in educating us about all our options, she went the extra mile in helping us gather information and roof quotes for a possible roof replacement, and it was also just a delight to talk to her! Professional, pleasant, and well-informed. We had to postpone this project for unexpected financial reasons, but we will definitely call Green Ridge again when we pick it back up!

I am pleased to give a 5 star rating for this solar company. For 5 years I did my research on the solar industry and had multiple bids from different companies. Green Ridge showed itself to be a cut above all the others I spoke to. Their professionalism from the first contact was exceptional. They were not pushy in their sale and they were some of the most competitive with their pricing that I found. After viewing all the info on their website and reading all the reviews I was satisfied to decide to use them to put in my ground mount system. From the first day of entering into a contract for the install they said what they would do and did what they said. They made this install so easy with their prompt install, keeping me in touch with the next task and scheduled time for crew to be here. Everything with this install was done with efficiency that only comes from a can do motto, excellent work onsite with their in house employees who quickly completed the project. I also drove and toured the headquarters of Green Ridge and was impressed with their operations. This is one satisfied customer to say the least. Yes, give them a call as you will not be sorry.
