This plan is designed to supplement your existing coverage (our workmanship warranty and your manufacturer equipment warranties) and add ongoing, practical support that most warranties don’t include.

Why a Care Plan for Solar?

Solar is famously low maintenance, but your system still lives outside, works every day, and depends on several key components and solid internet connection to perform its best. The truth is, most performance drops don’t happen all at once – they happen quietly, little by little.

Over time, everyday realities can chip away at solar production and reliability, such as:

• Pollen, dust, debris, and grime that build up and reduce output, meaning you could be losing savings without realizing it.
• Monitoring or communication issues (often caused by WiFi/router changes) that interrupt system reporting and hamper ability to see and diagnose issues quickly.

It builds on what Green Ridge Solar already provides with installations (workmanship warranty, first-year production guarantee, inverter-provider issue monitoring, and manufacturer warranties), and adds hands-on services and member perks that make ownership easier and more predictable.

Here’s what the Continuing Care Plan adds:

Annual panel cleaning (keep production strong)

Oregon seasons are beautiful… and tough on solar. Pollen, dust, moss, and everyday grime can quietly reduce production over time. With the Continuing Care Plan, you get one professional solar panel cleaning per annual renewal to help keep your array performing closer to its potential. That way, you’re not leaving solar savings on the table.

Important note: Scheduling is customer-initiated. You’ll reach out to schedule your cleaning, and we’ll book it based on availability. You don’t need to be home during the cleaning. (Cleanings are one per renewal and do not roll over.)

Annual virtual system inspection report (catch issues early)

Solar issues don’t always announce themselves. Sometimes the only symptom is a higher bill or lower-than-expected solar net-metering credits. To avoid this issue, we’ll complete an annual remote inspection and provide an annual system health report, looking for performance issues, communication gaps, or monitoring clues that there might be issues with your solar panel system.

If our remote review suggests a physical issue, we’ll recommend next steps so you can address small problems before they become bigger (and more expensive) ones.

One waived site visit fee per year ($295 value)

When you need an expert on-site, you want help fast – not another surprise line item. Continuing Care Plan members receive one waived site visit fee per year (a $295 value), making it easier to bring in our team when troubleshooting requires an in-person look.

(Site visits are one per annual renewal and do not roll over.)

5% discount on future work and upgrades (save on what’s next)

Many solar homeowners add on upgrades over time: more panels, critter guard, a battery, an EV charger, or removal/reinstall for a reroof. With our Continuing Care Plan, you’ll receive 5% off future qualifying work, including:

• Solar panel additions
• Solar panel remove & reinstall
• Critter control
• Solar-related electrical work
• Battery/generator work
• EV charger installation
• Secondary systems
• Additional-property installs
• A family & friends perk when you refer someone (they receive 5% off)

Note: Exclusions apply, such as non-solar electrical work and costs billed directly by subcontractors (for example trenching or concrete).

24/7 monitoring & WiFi support (stay connected, stay informed)

Solar monitoring is the difference between hoping your system is performing and knowing it is. The Continuing Care Plan includes 24/7 monitoring and WiFi support to help detect issues sooner and keep your system reporting accurately – especially when router changes, WiFi updates, or connectivity hiccups interrupt communication.

A few important conditions to understand:

• Monitoring covers system downtime (as defined).
• You’ll need to notify us of router/WiFi changes so we can help restore connectivity.
• Customers can decline monitoring/WiFi connectivity, but monitoring is required to maintain coverage and downtime records.
• Monitoring does not cover owner-caused issues, tampering, shading changes, property changes, or force majeure events.

Plan Pricing (Oregon only)

The Continuing Care Plan is available exclusively in Oregon and starts at $39/month – an easy, predictable way to protect a much larger home investment. Prefer to keep it even simpler? Choose annual billing and save 15%.

When you enroll, we’ll ask for a few system details – your system address, number of panels, and system size (kW) – so we can confirm eligibility, tailor support to your exact equipment, and make sure your cleaning, monitoring, and service benefits are set up correctly from day one.

Note: This subscription is an annual agreement, even if billed in monthly installments.
