Green Ridge Solar is excited to announce we are building a new office. The new office will be located in Sherwood, Oregon, and share space with Butterfield Testing.
While building has not yet begun, the location of our new office is set. We will remain grounded in the community we were founded and grew up within: Sherwood-Tualatin.
By building our new office in Sherwood, Green Ridge will be able to serve the community that has continued to support us over the last 5 years. We will also be able to serve the quickly growing Portland solar market, as well as those cities located closeby such as Gresham, Milwaukie, Clackamas, Oregon City, Wilsonville, Lake Oswego Tualatin, Tigard, Beaverton, and Hillsboro.
“We’re excited to start the next chapter in Green Ridge’s history and to continue being a part of the Sherwood community,” said Alex Carpenter, co-owner of Green Ridge Solar. “Our new office will open up so many possibilities and help us continue serving all of Oregon’s solar needs.”
The new office will contain plenty of room for our quickly growing Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams. It will also contain a large warehouse, which will be ideal for storing a large number of solar panels, electrical equipment, building materials, and house our growing fleet of trucks, vans, and trailers.
“This will be a great opportunity for us and for the Oregon solar market,” Carpenter said. “Solar energy continues to grow at staggering speed all over Oregon, and we will be here to serve that demand.”
Green Ridge Solar was started in Sherwood, Oregon, by best friends and Oregon natives Alex Carpenter and Brian Butterfield. The small startup began with a handful of employees in 2016, but has since grown to over 30 employees. Green Ridge Solar now serves the entire state of Oregon and parts of Washington, providing solar installation, maintenance, and repair services, as well as battery backup and EV charging solutions.
Construction of the new Green Ridge Solar office is expected to begin late 2022. We will provide ongoing updates to the building’s progress and Green Ridge Solar’s future business endeavors.
